            Re: PRA Request - Development Potential by Zone – Marina del Rey Land Use Plan

Dear Mr. Kreimann:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I request the following information regarding the Development Potential by Zone in Marina del Rey as proscribed in the Marina del Rey Land Use Plan (LUP), Chapter 8, pages 8-14 to 8-20.

1.      Bora Bora Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling units that have been utilized (out of the total 610 unit potential allocation); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling units; 3) the number of units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Bora Bora Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
2.      Tahiti Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units that have been utilized (out of the total 275/288 units potential allocation, respectively); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling and hotel/motel units; 3) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Tahiti Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
3.      Marquesas Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling units that have been utilized (out of the total 320 unit potential allocation); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling units; 3) the number of units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Marquesas Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
4.      Panay Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling and congregate care units that have been utilized (out of the total 250/75 units potential allocation, respectively); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling and congregate care units; 3) the number of dwelling and congregate care units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling, hotel/motel and congregate care units, if any that have been transferred between the Panay Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
5.      Palawan/Beach Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units that have been utilized (out of the total 180/200 units potential allocation, respectively); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling and hotel/motel units; 3) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Palawan/Beach Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
6.      Oxford Development Zone: please provide 1) the number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred or anticipated to be transferred between the Oxford Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996; and 2) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed.
7.      Admiralty Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of hotel/motel units that have been utilized (out of the total 200 units potential allocation, respectively); 2) the remaining number of allocated hotel/motel units; 3) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Admiralty Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
8.      Bali Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of hotel/motel units that have been utilized (out of the total 382 units potential allocation, respectively); 2) the remaining number of allocated hotel/motel units; 3) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Bali Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
9.      Mindanao Development Zone: please provide 1) the number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred or anticipated to be transferred between the Mindanao Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996; and 2) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed.
10. Fisherman’s Village Development Zone: please provide 1) the number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred or anticipated to be transferred between the Fisherman’s Village Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996; and 2) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed.
11. Harbor Gateway Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling units that have been utilized (out of the total 255 unit potential allocation); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling units; 3) the number of units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Harbor Gateway Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
12. Via Marina Development Zone: please provide 1) the number of dwelling units that have been utilized (out of the total 530 unit potential allocation); 2) the remaining number of allocated dwelling units; 3) the number of units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed; and 4) number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred between the Via Marina Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996.
13. North Shore Development Zone: please provide 1) the number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred or anticipated to be transferred between the North Shore Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996; and 2) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed.
14. Fiji Way Development Zone: please provide 1) the number dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any that have been transferred or anticipated to be transferred between the Fiji Way Development Zone and any other Development Zone since the certification of the Marina del Rey LCP in 1996; and 2) the number of dwelling and hotel/motel units, if any, that have been applied for development or proposed to be applied for development but that have not been developed.
15. Summary of Development Potential: please provide 1) the overall number of dwelling units that have been utilized (out of the total 2420 units potential allocation); 2) the overall number of hotel/motel units that have been utilized (out of the total 1,070 units potential allocation); 3) the overall number of congregate care units that have been utilized (out of the total 75 units potential allocation);
