In a protest letter to the Board of Supervisors, WAM alleges that new public hearing rules at Commission and Board meetings Countywide that limit public speakers to a total of 3 minutes per meeting, regardless of the number of agenda items, is a violation of California's Brown Act, which provides the law about hearing notices and conduct. WAM will also file a complaint with the Public Integrity Division of the LA County DA's office.
